We are seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows with a recent PhD or equivalent in neuroscience, stroke research, or related fields. The fellow will study molecular signaling and neuroprotective mechanisms in ischemic stroke, vascular cognitive impairment, and dementia. The research will use in vitro and in vivo mouse models. Previous training in neuroscience, molecular and cell biology, and/or cerebrovascular biology is required. Previous experience with rodent surgeries, including the mouse middle cerebral artery occlusion model or relevant VCID models, or gene regulation is highly desirable. Successful candidate is expected to join the laboratory of Dr. Xiangming Zha and/or Dr. Wenyan Sun.
