If this sounds like a job you’ll love, apply below.Responsibilities:Help lawyers prepare for trial by preparing and organizing exhibits, assisting with client meetings, filing motions, conducting research on legal articles, and organizing and coordinating witnessesAssist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence including correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavitsTake care of administrative tasks such as answering phones and maintaining an organized filing system for all legal documentsDraft subpoenas and coordinate with process serversConduct interviews with clients to gather information about their legal issuesLeveraging extensive experience to bring a seasoned perspective to organizing files and maintaining organizational efficiency within the firmApplying strategic insights to docketing (scheduling) events for optimal case progressionProviding mentorship and guidance to less experienced team members by scheduled case reviews and training recommendationsAssisting clients with completing complex legal forms with a depth of understandingDrafting nuanced letters and intricate court documents for attorney reviewConducting comprehensive legal research on complex and specialized issues, verifying case law, and reviewing legislationOverseeing the preparation of discovery and responses to complex discovery demandsFacilitating meetings with clients, offering seasoned insights during reviews of discovery responsesProactively communicating with clients to provide updates, gather information, and offer experienced guidanceCollaborating closely with attorneys to bring a wealth of courtroom experience to the preparation of cases for hearingsServing as a reliable and experienced backup for the Legal Assistant, handling tasks such as e-filing, file updates, phone answering, and schedulingUndertaking additional tasks as assigned to advance case progression and maintain organizational professionalism and training standardsQualifications:Excellent organizational skills, and time-management skillsCandidates must have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree preferredTalented communicator and writer3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm settingCandidates who have completed a paralegal professional certification or have advanced paralegal education will receive preferenceCompensation:

$65,000 - $95,000 yearly
