Enforce and comply with all policies and procedures of the Food and Beverage Department, The Little Nell, and Aspen OneControl Labor costs: monitor ProfitSword and adjust staffing levels accordinglyComplete Payroll, assist with scheduling and Staff DisciplineResponsible for the safety and proper handling of staff and equipmentSupervise staff in their work, whilst maintaining high performance levelsOversee table set-up, side duties, and delivery timesSupervise the care of equipment, minimize waste, breakage, and misuseDo monthly inventories, recommend purchases to manager and ensure the accuracy of requisitionsCommunicate with both IRD and Culinary staff regularly. Seek out staff opinion for improving operationsTrain all new hires to five-star standards. Ensure that all staff gets tested on their menu knowledge on a monthly basisTake an active part in weekly Food and Beverage meetingsEnsure room service area is clean and maintained. Keep back of the house clean and organizedMaintain a high level of guest satisfaction. Make immediate corrective action when a guest's needs are not metMaintain a professional appearance and conduct at all times. Ensure staff appearance and conduct are impeccableSupervise the Mini Bar program: Reduce wastage and suggest new productsSupervise the creation and delivery of interesting and attractive guest amenitiesDemonstrate knowledge of safety and fire procedures. Assist in emergency and security procedures as directed by management and the established emergency planEnforce Local liquor and sanitation ordinancesReport to work in a neatly groomed and acceptable manner as outlined in the employee handbook and departmental rulesReport to shift on timeComplete tasks and projects delegated by your managerAssist other departments as business volumes and staff levels demandMinimum Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred3-4 years’ experience with Food and Beverage and at least 1 year supervisor experienceWorking knowledge of wine, food, and cooking methodsExcellent organizational and telephone skillsExperience and ability to delegate and supervise effectivelyGood command of the English languageSupervision Given and ReceivedGiven:

Exercises general supervision over In-Room Dining Staff. Assigns a variety of routine tasks, sets general expectations of results expected within the company’s policies and procedures. Responsibilities include but are not limited to, interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.Received:

Works under general supervision of the In-Room Dining Manager. Receives continuing or individual assignments according to supervisor’s directions and may perform routine tasks. Expectations of the quality, quantity, and deadlines are clearly set. Instructions, advice, and assistance available as needed. Work is reviewed on demand or during scheduled check-ins.Work Environment and Physical Demands
