Summary/Objective
The Branch Manager in training will train to become a branch manager in one of our MA locations, training with teams in various locations in MA. The Branch Manager directs and coordinates activities of the branch including sales, warehouse, and delivery. This role is multifaceted and crucial for the smooth functioning of the business. The Branch Manager manages operations, inspires the team, fosters growth, and contributes to the overall success of the company.

Operations Oversight :
The Branch Manager oversees day-to-day operations at the branch, managing sales, inventory, and customer service.
Ensure efficient workflows, minimize operating costs, and maintain high service levels for both internal and external customers.
Participate in administering company policies, directing and coordinating all department activities to develop and implement long-range goals and objectives to meet business and profitability growth objectives.
Review analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine progress toward stated sales goals and objectives.
Review operations and plans to meet requirements for sales planning and to develop new markets.
Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement strategic goals and objectives aligned with the company’s vision and mission.
Goals include improving processes, enhancing customer satisfaction, and driving growth.
Hire and manage personnel to maintain workload and achieve branch objectives to keep the branch at proper staffing levels.
Build and lead a cohesive team while fostering individual and collective growth.
Review and maintain accurate timesheets and payroll records for all employees.
Write and deliver bi-annual performance reviews for the team.
Monitor the branch’s financial performance, including detailed profit and loss (P&L) analysis.
Implement cost-effective measures and contribute to overall profitability.
Facility Maintenance:
Ensure the facility’s safety and functionality.
Ensure the facility is neat, clean, and organized daily.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers to maintain a well-functioning branch.
Identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives related to safety, quality, and performance.
Build relationships; learn the value of relationships and view building relationships as a critical success tool.
Requirements
Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or GED
Four to 10 years’ management/leadership experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Preferred Education and Experience
Degree in Management
Knowledge of industry – plumbing, heating, HVAC
