Staff Accountant

CALIBRE Systems, Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for a Staff Accountant to add to our Accounting team.As the Staff Accountant, we are looking for someone who is able to do the following:Work closely with the Accounting Manager with the month-end and year-end closing processPrepare journal entries, monthly balance sheets, income statements, and internal profit and loss statementsEnsure all Accounting tasks and financial records comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR)Reconcile balance sheet accountsSupport various auditsWork on process improvementsOther duties as assignedPlease note: External Candidates will only be screened and interviewed if an Internal Candidate is not selected.Required Skills

Knowledge of general financial accountingWorking knowledge of GovCon ERP systems (Deltek Costpoint)Proficiency with MS Office (specifically Excel)Effective oral and written communication skillsProven ability to handle multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailRequired Experience

3+ years of related experienceBA/BS in Accounting and/or Finance from an accredited college/university (Other education along with commensurate experience may be substituted)
