An exciting opportunity to join one of the Northwest's Premier wineries. We are looking to add a highly motivated Culinary Coordinator to our talented team at our Goldendale Tasting Room & Bistro. Successful candidates will provide exceptional service in supporting our efficiently run high-volume culinary operation, ensuring our guests receive the best food quality possible as part of an immersive wine-tasting experience. Sales and production are rapidly increasing, and our team exemplifies our company values of Integrity, Teamwork, Communication, and Environment as we embrace those who share with us a passion for what we do, the patience to do it right and demonstrate balance in their attitudes and actions.Responsibilities and Standards:Present a warm, friendly, and enthusiastic service-oriented attitudeMust exhibit strong leadership skills and work collaboratively with Tasting Room ManagerEfficiently run a high-volume scratch culinary line operation while ensuring our guests receive the best food quality possible.Organize and lead both line and prep staffAbility to execute plated meals, wine pairing dinners along with banquet and catering eventsEnsure the highest standards of food safety and quality are being met by all staffMaintain a clean work environmentAbility to self-manage and work independentlyManage inventory levels and prep par levelRequired to follow all safety procedures to ensure personal safety from potential hazardsOccasionally serve as “Person in Charge” in the absence of manager or other leadership Embrace other duties as assigned by the Tasting Room Manager as it relate to the team environmentMaintain regular, reliable, and punctual attendance.Skills and Qualifications:Preferred knowledge of POS systemsExceptional level in people managementAwareness and ambassador of safetyFood handler's card or SERV Safe/HACCP Certification, preferred knowledge in alcohol serving lawsMust be a minimum of 21 years of age.Physical Requirements:Stand/Walk: FrequentlyLift 25lbs: FrequentlyLift 50lbs: OccasionallyBending, stooping: FrequentlyReaching, Pushing, Pulling: FrequentlyExposed to hot/humid environments: ConstantlyCompensation & Benefits:Competitive hourly rate starting at $22.00 - $25.00 Per hour DOEParticipation in tip pool (tip average an additional $7-$10 per hour)Employee discountSick & Paid time offPaid holidays (7 observed)Benefit plans available (Medical, Dental & Vision)401(k) with company matchEmployee assistance program
