Quality Assurance Engineer I

Responsibilities:
Provide Quality Engineering support to the metal fabrication processes Collect and analyze data and apply SPC (Statistical Process Controls) across different product lines Participate in problem solving activities incorporating the use of Root Cause and Corrective Action methods. Assemble customer data documentation packages Lead activities included in continuous improvement projects Generate Nonconformance and Corrective Action reports Understand inspection processes and tools Maintain quality records files Participate in maintaining our ISO Quality System Collaborate with other functions to establish and improve manufacturing and quality control methods Participate in internal audits to determine company's compliance to 3 rd party organizations Requirements:
B.S. in Engineering or Science At minimum of 2 years' experience in metal fabrication Industry Displays good written and verbal communication skills Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment Demonstrated problem solving skills Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint A basic knowledge of relevant ASME codes/standards is a plus: Develop a working knowledge of Six Sigma/Lean Manufacturing Develop an understanding of ISO 9001 Quality Management Systems Experience with statistical software (Minitab) and ERP (Epicor) system is a plus
