The mission of the Colorado Coalition for the Homeless is to work collaboratively toward the prevention of homelessness and the creation of lasting solutions for homeless and at-risk families, children, and individuals throughout Colorado. The Coalition advocates for and provides a continuum of housing and a variety of services to improve the health, well-being, and stability of those it serves.
The Colorado Coalition for the Homeless seeks a
Program Manager
to oversee the management of the Housing Assistance team. Collaborates closely with internal departments to ensure all subsidies are utilized and CCH Property Management units are filled in a timely manner. Works closely with other Coalition Managers as well as local and federal partners to ensure successful implementation and sustainability of services. This position is located at 2135 Stout St., Denver, Colorado 80205and reports to the Director of Housing Assistance.
NOTE:
In order to ensure that our consumers receive the best possible care the candidate chosen to fill this position will be required to complete our internal credentialing and privileging process prior to a start date.
The credentialing and privileging timeline is dependent on the selected candidate's submission of documents necessary for clearance. Please note that a start date will be scheduled once credentialing and privileging is complete.

Supervises assigned Housing Counseling and Housing Navigation staff as well as maintains oversight of housing counselor activities within other CCH Departments.Develops and maintains good landlord/tenant relations and intervenes in landlord/tenant disputes while maintaining an understanding of general operating procedures for property management firms (time between work order input and work completed, etc.).In collaboration with the Director of Housing Assistance, manages decisions regarding participants' continued assistance, program noncompliance and violations and rent payments.Oversees the accurate disbursement of monthly Housing Assistance Payments.Trains and assists staff as needed regarding job duties, including but not limited to preparation of housing files, data entry, proper documentation of charts, appropriate correspondence to clients/case managers/funders/ landlords, housing orientations, inspections, lease-ups, landlord-tenant relations, completing reports, and interdepartmental workflow.Completion of assigned reports to Denver Department of Human Services, Division of Housing, Supportive Housing and Homeless Programs and HUD.Assists in the development and oversight of program budgets, grant applications and completion of all required reports.Assures that programs are in compliance with appropriate local, state and federal requirements.Assists with the monitoring and compliance with subcontract agencies or with those agencies with which MOU's exist.In collaboration with the Housing Compliance Specialist, assists with ongoing audits of program housing files for all CCH Housing programs. This includes internal CCH and external audit processes with Division of Housing, Supportive Housing and Homeless Programs, City and County of Denver, and HUD.Manages relationships with property managers, community mental health partners, and outreach workers to ensure that clients have access to housing and remain stably housed.Reviews and approves all housing-related paperwork, and assures it meets HUD standards and is delivered to the appropriate person (new lease terms, rent increases, RFTAs, W-9s, etc.).Knows different voucher requirements and implementation procedures (homeless history, housing orientation, when checks run, programming requirements for each voucher).Assists in the implementation of quality improvement activities; provides oversight, implementation, documentation, and follow-up.Performs other duties as assigned by management.
