Drivers are the face of Van Eerden and a vital part of the team. While its a tough job, it is an extremely important one to the function of our business and to the satisfaction of the customer.As a Delivery Driver you can expect that your primary responsibilities would be:* Ensure safe, accurate, timely and efficient deliveries to our customers.* Unload product from trailer and place product neatly and carefully in designated customer areas.* Perform daily DOT inspection of equipment.* Comply with FMCSA rules and regulations for DOT hours of service and compliance.* This position requires repetitive bending, lifting, pushing and twisting up to 55 lbs. and occasionally lifting up to 100 lbs.**This is a home daily delivery position that departs from and returns to Grand Rapids.****In order to qualify as a candidate for this position, youll need:*** Must be 21 years old or older* Must have a CDL-A license* No felonies* Must successfully pass a drug screenVan Eerden offers employee benefits including health, dental and vision insurance, paid vacations after 6 months and holidays, tuition reimbursement and a 401k plan with a 50% Company Match.If you are an ambitious and dedicated individual who has a passion for the food business and providing a great customer experience, wed love to have you join our team!*Van Eerden is a proud veteran and military-friendly employer.*
