These programs are designed to provide an immediate response to individuals experiencing a psychiatric crisis.Click here for more information on our programs.Job Requirements:•A current Illinois RN or LPN license•Adequate written skills to accurately complete required documentation within the time frames prescribed•Current CPR certification or able to obtain within 3 monthsEssential Responsibilities:Demonstrates essential nursing skills; responds to medical crises in the communityAssesses physical/medical needs of Co-Responder Coordinates medical appointments for Co-Responder clients and provides transportation and support when neededCompletes Medication Administration and Training for Co-Responder clientsCompletes prior authorizations as needed for clients medicationsMaintains communication with team leader and coordinator on medication assistance requests and budgetsBuilds relationships with medical community and providers and advocates for Co-Responder clients to get appropriate careProvides education to Co-Responder clients regarding medical problems and prevention issuesProvides education on nutrition, wellness, medications and symptom management to Co-Responder clients either group or individual sessionsOther responsibilities as assigned.Work Location: Rosecrance Mulberry Center - Rockford, ILDay Work Hours Available!About Us:Rosecrance has been at the forefront of providing behavioral health services for over a century.
