Assistant Head Nurse

for our

Medical Surgical Unit.

DUTIES As Assistant Head Nurse you will provide operational and administrative support to the Unit Nurse Manager. Recruiting and training staff. Assigning unit nursing tasks. Coordinating and making shift assignments. Monitoring and assessing unit staff performance. Providing hands-on technical assistance, leadership, and support for nursing staff. Preparing and assisting with the preparation of Nurse Management, incident, accident, and investigatory reports

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS:

Must be a graduate of an Accredited BSN Nursing Program. MSN degree preferred NY State RN License required Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Minimum of two years of Surgical, Critical Care or other related RN experience Must have minimum of two years of progressive leadership responsibilities,
