Environmental Project Manager

will support the Building and Construction business by overseeing the Environmental projects in the Charlotte Region. This position could travel 20% of the time depending on project load/location.Shift/Schedule:

Monday – Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM (may vary)What you’ll do:Perform environmental services including Phase I and II environmental site assessments (ESAs)Perform soil and groundwater samplingAssist in assessment and remediation and field observation documentationPerform industrial hygiene services to include assisting with asbestos, indoor air quality, and lead surveysAbility to prepare technical proposal and reportsAbility to communicate with clients and regulators to keep projects moving and on scheduleAbility to self-manage and make decisions during all phases of a projectAbility to manage and control project budgets and build solid relationships with clientsMinimum Requirements & Qualifications:BS in Environmental Science, Engineering, Geology, or related field3+ years of proven technical environmental consulting experienceStrong technical proposal and report writing abilitiesMust be detail-oriented, and a team player with excellent communication, analytical, and organization, as well as time and budget management skillsMust be computer literate and able to operate most field/office equipment relating to one’s disciplineProficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and OutlookValid Driver's License and reliable driving record requiredAbility to travel up to 20% of the timePhysical Requirements:Ability to lift, move, push, and pull 30 to 50 pounds frequentlyAbility to receive detailed information through oral communication, (hearing) and to make the discriminations in soundAbility to kneel and squat occasionallyAbility to walk and stand for long periods of timeAbility to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions (hot and cold)Ability to climb occasionallyIntertek is a drug-free workplace.
