Senior Systems Administrator

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior System Administrator to join our team. As a Senior System Administrator, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in managing and maintaining our organization's IT infrastructure. You will work closely with our IT team to support various systems and services, including Azure, Active Directory (AD), Google Workspace, Mobile Device Management (MDM), and security protocols. Experience with laptop setup and maintenance will also be essential for this role.Key Responsibilities:

Azure Administration:

Manage and maintain Azure VMs, services and resources.Monitor Azure infrastructure for performance and security issues.Help implement and optimize Azure-based solutions as per business requirements. Backup and recovery.

Active Directory (AD) and Office365 administration:

Support the administration and maintenance of Active Directory and Office 365 services.Assist in user and group management, permissions, and access control.Troubleshoot AD-related issues and provide timely resolution.Migration systems to Azure is a plus.

Exchange Online Management:

Setup, configure and manage Exchange Online Mailboxes, distribution groups and shared mailboxes.Perform email migration from Google Workspace.Implement and manage email policies, retention policies and data loss prevention (DLP) policies.Troubleshoot email delivery issues.

Teams Phone System Administration:

Configure and manage Microsoft Teams Phone System, including call routing, auto attendants and call queues.Port numbers from RingCentral to Teams.Setup and maintain Teams devices.

Mobile Device Management (MDM):

Assist in the setup and management of MDM solutions for mobile devices.Ensure compliance with organizational security policies and standards.Provide support for MDM-related issues and user inquiries.

Machine Setup and Maintenance:

Setup, configuration, and deployment of laptops for new employees, install licensed software.Provide technical support for laptop-related issues, including hardware and software troubleshooting.Deploy new Servers/VMs on Azure cloud.Ensure all machines are maintained and updated with the latest security patches and software releases.

Security:

Assist in implementing and maintaining security protocols and best practices.Participate in security audits and vulnerability assessments.Aid in incident response and resolution for security-related incidents.

Technical Support:

Provide technical assistance and support to end-users on IT-related matters.Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues, contacting vendors’ support when necessary.Document and maintain IT support procedures and knowledge base articles.

Requirements:

Graduated from a relevant degree program (Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field).Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in system administration with focus on cloud services and security.Strong understanding of Azure cloud services and administration.Experience in Exchange Online and Active Directory (AD) management.Experience in mobile device management (MDM) solutions.Experience in laptop setup, configuration, and troubleshooting.Knowledge of IT security principles and best practices.Experience in migration from Google Workspace to Azure is a plus.Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes.
