Project Engineer - Municipal & Special Districts

Our extensive range of experience includes industrial, commercial, large mixed-use, energy, hospitality, healthcare, education, municipal, and multi- and single-family residential projects. From large-scale industrial projects to preliminary feasibility studies, our goal is to provide value through creative and cost-effective design solutions. We have 3 locations across Texas: Houston, The Woodlands, and San Antonio.Responsibilities:Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and contract cost estimates, requiring an understanding of multi-disciplinary team coordination.Devise alternative approaches and solutions to problems.Engineering planning, analysis, design, estimating, contracting, project management, construction, and delivery phases for:Linear infrastructure, roadway, rehabilitation projects.Municipal and facility master planning, evaluation, rehabilitation, and expansion.Assist with management of general consultation tasks for Municipal & Special Districts.Build and maintain relationships between project teams, collaborating to ensure that technical, quality, cost, and client requirements are implemented.Coordinate with outside sub-consultants.Prepare a range of reports to communicate project information to team members, clients, and other stakeholders.Work closely with the project team.Mentor junior staff.Handle multiple simultaneous projects and demonstrate a desire to work in a multi-disciplinary team.Maintain regular and prompt attendance at WGA The Woodlands office.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering discipline.EIT license required; or able to receive within 6 months of employment.1+ year of experience.EEO STATEMENTWGA, LLP is committed to providing equal opportunity to all qualified applicants and its employees.
