We have 4 locations across Texas: Houston, The Woodlands, Austin, and San Antonio.Responsibilities:As a Project Engineer on our Water/Wastewater engineering team in the Houston office, you will:Prepare proposals, scopes of work, and contract cost estimates, requiring an understanding of multi-disciplinary team coordination.Devise alternative approaches and solutions to problems.Engage in engineering planning, analysis, design, estimating, contracting, project management, construction, and delivery phases for:Treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, odor control systems, water wells, and other utility water systems.Municipal and facility master planning, evaluation, rehabilitation, and expansion.Build and maintain relationships between project teams and collaborate to ensure that technical, quality, cost, and client requirements are implemented.Coordinate with outside sub-consultants.Prepare a range of reports to communicate project information to team members, clients, and other stakeholders.Work closely with the project team.Mentor junior staff.Handle multiple simultaneous projects and demonstrate a desire to work in a multi-disciplinary team.Maintain regular and prompt attendance at the WGA Houston office.Perform other duties as assigned.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or other related engineering discipline.EIT license required; or able to receive within 6 months of employment.2+ years of direct water/wastewater design experience.EEO STATEMENTWGA, LLP is committed to providing equal opportunity to all qualified applicants and its employees.
