They are entrusted with strategic planning, continuous improvement, and the daily response to technology events. This includes managing a team to respond to technology incidents impacting any of those areas and managing communications both internally and externally.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Manage the entire incident management process, from identification to resolution and post-analysis.Prioritize and classify incidents according to their severity and impact on business operations.Coordinate with internal IT teams and external vendors to promptly resolve incidents.Keep stakeholders informed by providing regular updates on incident status and resolution progress.Deploy and maintain incident management tools and systems for process optimization.Perform root cause analysis for significant incidents and establish preventive measures to minimize recurrence.Develop and update incident management policies, procedures, and documentation.Offer guidance and assistance to IT teams during incident response activities.Monitor incident trends and identify opportunities for process enhancement.Collaborate with other IT service management functions, such as problem and change management, to ensure alignment and synergy.Perform other tasks and duties as required and assigned.Experience and Skills:Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Demonstrated experience in IT incident management or a comparable role within the IT and Financial sectors.Thorough understanding of ITIL incident management processes and best practices.Exceptional problem-solving and analytical abilities, especially under pressure.Effective communication and interpersonal skills, adept at engaging stakeholders of all levels.Proficiency in incident management tools and systems.Familiarity with service management frameworks like ITIL.Experience with IT service management software such as ServiceNow.Capability to thrive both independently and as part of a team.Job Benefits:As part of the overall compensation package, Wedbush Securities (WS) offers an array of diverse benefits to our Colleagues.Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision coverage with multiple health plan options.Health Savings Account (HSA) with company-sponsored contributions.Flexible Spending Accounts (FSA) traditional and dependent care.Pre-Tax Commuter Benefits.401(k) Plan: competitive discretionary company matching and profit-sharing contributions.Tuition reimbursement ($5,250 max per year).Paid Vacation, Sick Time, Holidays, Volunteer Time Off.Paid Leave: Parental Bonding, Jury Duty, Military, Disability, etc.FINRA and Professional License Sponsorship.Charitable Donation Matching Contributions.Travel & Employee Assistance and Employee Discount Programs.Discretionary compensation based on the colleague's and the firm's performance.Applications will be accepted until the position is filled. Decisions regarding compensation are determined on a case-by-case basis and are dependent on a variety of factors including but not limited to location; skill sets; experience and training; licensure and certifications; and other business and organizational needs.
