Premier Chess Academy, USA – An United States Chess Federation (USCF) affiliated academy (A7238879) conducts online USCF rated weekend tournaments. This is to give kids an exposure to the Chess world and at the same time benefit to attain US Chess rating.
POINTS TO CONSIDER:
Entry to the tournament will be based on – First come first serve basis as each USCF rated tournament has
50 kids limitation. Please convert time zone to your area (if you don’t find it listed below). Kids are recommended to play only 1 weekend event to give equal opportunities for other kids. Number of Rounds: 04, Time Control: 10 minutes + 02 sec increment from move 1 & Duration of Event: ~90 Minutes. Offensive/vulgar chat on Chess.com during tournaments is a violation of our policy and may result in expulsion from our club without prior notice. Individual players can use the player search with their USCF membership number on the US Chess website. USCF membership is mandatory along with
USCF approval of your chess.com and USCF membership.
If you are new to USCF rated online tournaments, kindly follow the step-by-step guide below. You need to be a member of Premier Chess Academy club on Chess.com. Only kids with active USCF membership will be allowed in the club. USCF Rating is decided by United States Chess Federation; Premier Chess Academy has no control over the rating. The platform is Chess.com; please click on the above link and log in with your user ID and password 15 minutes before the tournament. In case a participant joins late, the only provision for the kid to join the tournament will be to click on the event link that will direct them to the tournament and join the 2nd round. Kids need to stay in the Playing Arena after their match is over. The next round will be paired automatically once all games are finished. Participants are not required to join any Zoom meeting. Illegal Activities:
Taking any help from a book, device, or person is strictly prohibited. If any player is found doing so, they will be disqualified from the event.
Anti-Cheating:
Use of external assistance is not allowed. Applicable only for Premier Chess Academy enrolled kids of Advance Beginner and above. Participation for this event is voluntary for kids and parents. By participating in the event, the parent/kid agrees to the terms and conditions put forth by Premier Chess Academy Corporation, USA. Premier Chess Academy currently uses the Chess.com platform for USCF tournaments and won’t take any responsibility for platform-related ranking or issues. Parents are supposed to read and agree to the terms and conditions before joining this event. Premier Chess Academy reserves the right to cancel the event for any reason if decided by the management.
