Job Description
We are seeking a talented Full Stack Software Engineer to join our dynamic team in Palo Alto, CA. This role is ideal for individuals with 3+ years of experience who are passionate about building robust software systems and thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and implement large-scale software systems using microservices architecture.Work with web application frameworks such as Django, Flask, or Node, and utilize ORMs for database interactions.Develop and maintain both relational and non-relational databases with a focus on efficient data modeling.Implement distributed asynchronous message queues like RabbitMQ, Kinesis, or SQS.Create and maintain RESTful web services with a focus on best practices in design and implementation.Develop front-end interfaces using modern frameworks such as React, Vue, or Angular.Ensure secure authentication and authorization practices are in place for application access.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.Contribute to the continuous improvement of our Agile development processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
Solid command of Python and a good knowledge of JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.Experience with at least one web application framework and ORM.Proficiency in working with both relational and non-relational databases.Experience with distributed asynchronous message queues.Expertise in RESTful web service principles, design, and implementation.Familiarity with modern front-end frameworks.Deep understanding of current authentication and authorization schemes.Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts clearly.Analytical and problem-solving abilities.Experience with public cloud services, preferably AWS.Experience with relational database systems like PostgreSQL or MySQL.Commitment to building unit tests as part of the software development process.Proficiency with Unix, Git, and other command line tools.Self-motivated and driven with a minimum of 3 years in backend or full-stack engineering roles.
Nice to Have
Familiarity with Generative AI models and application frameworks.Experience with data visualization and reporting tools such as Tableau.A portfolio of work demonstrated by a GitHub account, personal web page, or prior experience.Familiarity with CI/CD tools like BitBucket, GitLab, or GitHub.Knowledge of streaming data storage solutions.Experience with multi-service authorization using Single Sign-On schemes.
