We are seeking a Sr. Talent Sourcer to join our dynamic recruiting team. In this role, you will play a crucial role in identifying and engaging top Quantitative and Engineering talent to support Trexquant’s growth initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the quant and technical talent market, exceptional sourcing abilities, and a passion for connecting with candidates.Responsibilities
Utilize various sourcing techniques (e.g., LinkedIn, Boolean searches, networking events) to identify and engage top technical professionals.Collaborate with recruiters and hiring managers to understand role requirements and develop sourcing strategies to attract top talent.Proactively build and maintain a pipeline of potential candidates for current and future hiring needs.Screen and assess candidates to ensure alignment with job requirements and company culture.Engage with passive candidates and nurture relationships to convert them into active applicants.Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and best practices in technical sourcing.Assist with other recruiting-related tasks and projects as needed.Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).2-5 years of proven experience as a sourcer or similar role, ideally with a focus on sourcing engineering or quantitative researchers (experience working as an internal recruiter for a financial services company is a plus but not necessary; we welcome folks coming from agencies).Proficient in using various sourcing tools and platforms, such as LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search techniques, and applicant tracking systems.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and build relationships with candidates.
