As the General Manager, you will oversee the strategic and operational leadership of three business locations, driving business growth, achieving financial and operational targets, and maintaining high operational efficiency. Responsibilities

Strategic Planning:

Develop and implement business strategies to achieve company goals and objectives. Conduct market analysis to identify opportunities for growth and expansion. Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices.

Operations Management:

Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure efficient and effective service delivery. Manage and optimize workflows to enhance productivity and minimize costs. Implement and enforce safety protocols and industry best practices.

Team Leadership:

Recruit, train, and supervise staff, including arborists, tree climbers, plant health care specialists, and support personnel. Foster a positive and collaborative work environment. Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback to employees.

Client Relations:

Build and maintain strong relationships with clients and stakeholders. Ensure client satisfaction by addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly. Work closely with the sales team to secure new business and expand the client base.

Financial Management:

Develop and manage budgets, ensuring financial stability and profitability. Monitor and analyze financial performance, making strategic adjustments as needed. Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors.

Quality Control:

Implement and maintain quality control measures to uphold service standards. Conduct regular inspections to ensure work meets company and industry standards. Address quality issues promptly and implement corrective actions.

Regulatory Compliance:

Stay up-to-date with local, state, and federal regulations related to tree care. Ensure the company's compliance with all relevant laws and safety standards. Obtain necessary permits and licenses for operations.

Community Engagement:

Represent the company in the community and industry events. Build positive relationships with local authorities and environmental organizations. Participate in initiatives that contribute to the community's well-being.

Qualifications

Minimum 7 years in a senior management role, preferably in the tree care or landscaping industry.

Experience in strategic planning, financial management, and operations management.

Strong knowledge of tree care practices, equipment, and safety procedures.

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.

Familiarity with relevant regulations and compliance requirements.

Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.

Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
