This is a Detail, not a Developmental Rotation.You will be expected to perform as an incumbent in this position.

Supervisory approval form must be signed.

Qualifications required:

GS-13 level applicants should demonstrate the following in their application:

Attention to Detail: ensuring IT project/system adherence to regulations and governance policies.

Customer Service: generating IT security performance measures, monitoring achievements, reporting variances, responding to data calls and contributing to briefings.

Oral Communication: leading a team in the analysis, planning, establishment of IT security requirements, and other related business, management, and technical duties.

Problem Solving: identifying IT security risks and issues and providing recommendations for mitigation or resolution.

GS-14 applicants should demonstrate the following in their application in addition to those listed above:

Coordinating the implementation of IT security programs across platforms.

Evaluating IT security incident response policies.

Identifying the need for IT security changes based on new technologies or threats.

Applying project management principles and methods to ensure fully compliant infrastructure, platform, and application protection programs are implemented throughout the organization.
