Electrical Designer – Technology SystemsWest Metro | Direct Hire | $45 - 85kKonik is partnering with a local engineering services firm that is seeking to add a designer with a focus on technology systems to its team. In this role, you will design and layout sound, fire alarm, security, clock, paging, and data systems to meet the client's needs. This is a terrific opportunity for an individual who enjoys working with technology and has training or experience designing using Revit.Responsibilities:

Design and layout technology systems and associated equipment.Take the lead for data systems, clock systems, building paging systems, security systems, sound systems, and similar on multiple projects at a time.Review and edit technology specifications, ensuring exact details of the requirements are clear.Learn best practices within the technology systems space, building a strong knowledge of the products and businesses that support it.Coordinate with other design departments, participating in in-house project team meetings.Present technology systems to clients to assist in selecting the proper systems for project designs.Requirements:

Bachelor or Associate in Electrical Engineering, Drafting, Technology Systems, or similar discipline.The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience designing technology systems in an engineering services setting; however, new graduates will be considered as well.Must have experience working with Revit; experience can come from a recent degree program or on-the-job experience utilizing it.Strong interest in technology systems.
