Design/BIM/VDCDescription:This position is based out of our Fridley, MN office. As a Senior Panel Designer, you will be responsible for leading and supporting the overall mission of the Company's controls and automation business, in alignment with all approved business models. This position will have a strategic focus on control systems integration and industrial controls, serving primarily the industrial and manufacturing markets where controls and automation systems exist in client facilities. This position is also responsible for leadership and adherence to department standards and processes, in alignment with all Company policies, procedures, key objectives and regulations.Our Ideal Candidate:Has a growth mindset and is always looking to continually learn and grow.Is detail oriented and has strong organizational skills.Can work independently and meet deadlines with minimal oversight.Day in the life:Provides leadership to engineering, and technical execution, with an emphasis on industrial control panel design.Participates in and coordinates the design of automation hardware, panel building, and testing.Manages and develops project deliverables independently and/or within a team.Provides frequent communication, troubleshooting, and problem-resolution consulting on issues with members of the project team.Provides training as needed to customers and/or team members on control systems required for specific project work.Builds effective relationships with customers, project teams, specialty contractors, and vendors.Consistently makes decisions in an attentive and safe manner to ensure the safety and health of self and others.Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.Minimum 5-7 years of control panel design experience.Knowledge and experience using AutoCAD Electrical in electrical control schematic and layout design.High degree of professionalism, initiative, organizational, customer service, and prioritization skills.Demonstrated strong problem-solving, customer service, and time management skills.Travel:
