With Authenticity and Purpose.About the roleAs (Senior) Director of Sales, you will utilize your customer engagement and negotiation skills to manage key accounts and respond to customer inquiries, effectively presenting Energy Vault’s products and services and devising solutions to create value for our clients. You will leverage your commercial skills to manage the customer expectations and deliverables throughout the sales cycle and negotiate deals from proposal submittal to contract signing. You will conduct detailed due diligence on public RFPs and make recommendations whether to pursue available opportunities in the market. You will manage and grow a pipeline of opportunities using established CRM processes. A representative of Energy Vault in customer meetings and industry events, you will follow up with stakeholders you meet to close deals.This is an individual contributor full-cycle sales role with frequent (up to 40%) travel required; the primary Key Performance Indicators are revenue generated and MWh sold.What you will doNegotiate and close deals.Nurture and expand your robust network within renewable energy storage and generation.Lead customer engagements and manage key accounts and deliverables.Understand and champion the value and solutions we provide clients.Attend industry events and represent our brand as a front-line sales leader.Conduct detailed due diligence on public RFPs and pursue opportunities as appropriate.Manage and grow a pipeline of opportunities using established CRM processes.Collaborate and partner frequently with commercial, engineering, project execution, and operations professionals across Energy Vault.What a qualified candidate should possessBachelor’s degree in a technical field preferred; higher degrees are a bonus.10+ years of sales experience in our industry.A career focus on energy storage sales to utilities, independent power producers, and/or large industrial customers.Excellent customer negotiation skills.A drive to persevere, overcome obstacles, and succeed.Proven track record formulating win-win proposals and closing large deals.Comfort in fast-paced environments; experience in public companies is a plus.This role is eligible for quarterly bonuses under our sales incentive plan.Energy Vault compensation and benefits for USA employees currently includeRestricted Stock Units (RSUs).401K employer matching.80% coverage for medical, dental, and vision plans for employees and family.100% company-paid life insurance, short- and long-term disability insurance.10 holidays per year.Flexible time off plus 96 hours of sick time.Reimbursement for home office equipment, phone, and internet expenses.Ongoing exploration of additional benefits as the company grows.#LI-MC1 #remoteJoin Us in Empowering ChangeAt Energy Vault we are committed to providing an environment of mutual respect where equal employment opportunities are available to all applicants.
