This role will help drive improvements in Micron’s contract processes and policies, and will be responsible for drafting, negotiating, and processing high volumes of complex capital equipment, manufacturing, technology development, licensing, engineering, and procurement contracts required by Micron's business. This role will be based in either San Jose, California or Boise, Idaho.What You’ll Do:Serve as a trusted business partner to Micron’s Manufacturing, Capital Equipment, and Procurement Teams to support the global operations of Micron’s semiconductor fabrication facilities.Draft, negotiate, and process high volumes of complex capital equipment, manufacturing, technology development, licensing, engineering, and other procurement contracts.Serve as a key resource in Micron’s end-to-end contract management function supporting the business and Procurement.Help drive implementation of legal efficiencies to support and improve contract processes and operations, including developing best-in-class templates and negotiation playbooks.Represent Micron legally in commercial interactions and disputes with suppliers, while balancing the business interests of clients with the ultimate fiduciary responsibility to the company.Provide proactive strategic advice and guidance to internal teams regarding business and legal issues and risks.What We’re Looking For:J.D. degree from an accredited law school, along with active membership in at least one state bar.10+ years’ experience in the practice of commercial and contract law at a U.S. public company, with particular experience drafting and negotiating high volumes of complex semiconductor equipment purchase agreements, maintenance services agreements, in-bound software licenses, and related technology and procurement contracts.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to collaborate, demonstrate diplomacy, and otherwise interact well with colleagues and management.Highly disciplined with the ability to make independent decisions and work with limited supervision while excelling in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work product.Strong work ethic and ability to handle and advance multiple projects in a global stakeholder environment (viz., the United States and APAC region).Experience with contract lifecycle management and e-signature software tools.The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is:

$151,000.00 - $337,000.00Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries of the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors, including knowledge, skills, experience, tenure and relevant education or training.
