WHAT IS IN IT FOR YOUCompetitive SalaryPaid Time OffMedical, Dental and Vision Insurance, 401KEmployee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwideLearning programs through our AcademiesOpportunity to develop your talent and grow within your property and across the world!Ability to make a difference through our Corporate Social Responsibility activitiesRate of Pay: $25.00-26.50 per hourRESPONSIBILITIESEnsure prompt and courteous service is extended to both internal and external clientsHave a complete understanding and knowledge of hotel’s services and facilitiesAssist in qualifying leads, researching space, entering bookings in Opera Sales and Event Management, and responding to client(s) either personally or by directing to the appropriate salesperson(s)Preparation of contracts and proposalsRecord and track leads for responses and due datesPreparation of deposit invoices and tracking of deposits received from clientsVerify group commissions and prepare requests for commission paymentsAssist Sales Managers in conducting site inspections of the HotelMaintain/order current printed sales and promotional collaterals and office suppliesCoordinate with other departments within the hotel to ensure distribution of important informationPrepare and disseminate routine daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reportsAttend all sales meetingsObtain and record group historiesProvide administrative duties as required by Sales Managers and Director of Group SalesRegular Sales Office phone coverageAssist with preparation and follow-up of sales trips including expense reportingAssist with duties of Sales Managers when they are absent from the officeMaintain an organized work environmentOther duties as assignedQualifications

QUALIFICATIONSMinimum High School Diploma, Business School and/or Hotel School Diploma preferredBachelor’s or Associate’s college degree preferredProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsPast hospitality or travel industry experience (internal or external) an assetProven competency in the area of organization and communication skillsAbility to work without direct supervisionPleasant out-going personality/good interpersonal skillsExcellent command of the English languageDesire to pursue a career in Hospitality sales and marketing preferredAdditional Information
