To foster these core values, we look for candidates who are team-oriented, resourceful, and energetic and want to make an impact on a thriving firm.The Vice President of Human Resources will be a key partner of the Executive Team, working in concert to develop and execute a human resource strategy that supports Meeder’s growth initiatives. You will impact the organization through effective leadership and guidance of the human resource function in areas such as talent and performance management, training and development, succession planning, benefits and compensation, and employee relations. Through actions, programs, and policies, you will promote and champion the company's mission, values, and purpose. The ideal candidate will be located in the Columbus, Ohio area.Primary ResponsibilitiesCollaborate with executive leadership to identify actions to support Meeder’s long-term mission and goals through talent acquisition and talent management.Drive a strong company culture and foster a diverse workplace that enables all employees to contribute to the organization at their full potential.Mentor and develop a team

of managers, head onboarding and training initiatives, and the building of effective and efficient teams.Lead an effective talent management and performance appraisal process.Research, develop, and implement competitive compensation, benefits, and employee incentive programs.Maintain knowledge of employment law and regulations, and partner with Legal and Compliance to ensure appropriate execution and best practices.Provide guidance and leadership with resolution of human resource, compensation, and benefits questions, concerns, and issues.Critical Success FactorsModel an enthusiastic, forward-thinking

that encompasses high integrity, honesty, a solid work ethic, high professional standards, and strong moral character.Must currently reside or be willing to relocate to the Columbus, Ohio area.Skills RequiredBachelor’s degree with a focus in human resource management. Master’s degree preferred.Minimum of 7+ years in a human resources leadership role in the professional services industry. Financial services preferred.PHR/SPHR certification (or their equivalents) strongly preferred.SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) or SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) credential.Strong knowledge base of talent management software and other technology tools.
