Salary: $100k-$110k + Bonus (up to $20k)
Our downtown firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to provide legal representation to clients. This role involves preparing and reviewing legal pleadings, attending hearings, trials, and other legal proceedings, and assisting principals with trial preparation and attendance.Key Responsibilities:Maintain client communication to keep them updated on case progress through direct correspondence and reports.Draft and prepare a variety of legal documents, including discovery documents, motions, pre-trial pleadings, and briefs.Gather evidence, conduct research, interview clients and witnesses, and develop legal strategies and arguments.Participate in and assist with trials.Conduct legal research and prepare memorandums.Plan and prepare for trials, including witness examination, opening statements, trial motions, exhibits, and jury instructions.Prepare witnesses for deposition or trial, including issue preparation and document review.Qualifications:Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.Licensed to practice law in all relevant state and federal courts.Must be a member of the Missouri Bar; Illinois State Bar membership is preferred.Benefits:100% coverage for Employee health benefits (excludes spouse or dependents).Unlimited PTO.Comprehensive health, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance.401k plan with company match.Company-paid parking in a centrally located downtown garage.Work Environment:Associates work directly with partners.Open-door policy with partners.Great real-life experience in the courtroom.Apply:To be considered for this opening, please apply to
