NaphCare
Data Manager/Program Coordinator (JBTP)
NaphCare, Reno, Nevada, United States, 89550
Overview:
NaphCare is hiring a
Data Manager
to join our Jail Based Treatment Program that operates as a 30-bed adult specialized behavioral health unit at
Washoe County Detention Facility in Reno, NV.
We have opportunities for full-time with great benefits, part-time, PRN, and 13-week temporary contracts available
! The Data Manager/Program Coordinator works closely with the JBTP Program Director to fulfill the administrative and clerical needs of the program including but not limited to data entry and tracking of patient participation and outcomes assessments, while also serving as the lead liaison to facilitate patients participation in forensic evaluations throughout the facility. The ideal candidate has experience working in a healthcare and/or correctional setting, and in working within a multidisciplinary team. The Jail-Based Treatment Program (JBTP) provides specialized behavioral health services for patients awaiting transfer to a state hospital for further psychiatric treatment. The unit is a therapeutic environment, providing intensive day treatment services. By providing patient-centered, evidenced-based, and holistic care, the JBTP seeks to eliminate the need for these patients to transfer to the state hospital or, at a minimum, to decrease their length of stay once hospitalized. The ultimate aim is to assist defendants in moving forward with their legal case and with their lives in a healthier place. NaphCare is partnered with the Washoe County Sheriffs Office to provide this program, which is supported by the SNAMHS and funded through the NV-DHHS Division of Public and Behavioral Health. The Data Manager will work with a team of mental health clinicians, psychiatric providers, a psychiatric nurse, discharge planner, and recreational therapist led and supported by a program director. As a Data Manager/Program Coordinator, have you ever wanted to work somewhere where you can see real results from what you do? Where you are part of a true mental health professional team, well-supported by management, such that you know your patients quickly receive any medications they need, receive fast follow-up from providers and experience remarkable results? Would you like to work in a place that is secure and where most patients are very appreciative of your care? This is what our employees say about working in correctional healthcare for NaphCare: Working with NaphCare has provided me with amazing opportunities for growth. Through my various roles Ive experienced the benefit of balancing management tasks with performing direct patient care to serve our most vulnerable populations. It has been tremendously rewarding to help implement and grow award-winning programs and participate in site transitions across the nation. Our mental health programs take a collaborative multidisciplinary approach because we understand that working together is the only way to effectively meet our patients needs. Meghan, LMHC
