Nurse Practitioner: Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the physiological, psychological and emotional needs of the patients Obtain history and perform a physical examination to determine patient health status Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement treatment plans Identify patient health conditions and prescribe treatment based on diagnosis Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment Admit and discharge patients from all units in the facility Conduct rounds Schedule and perform laboratory and diagnostic procedures
Qualifications: Qualifications for
Nurse Practitioner: Must hold a current unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner in
NV Current DEA registration An appropriate collaborative agreement with the on-site Physician A valid CPR card Be certified in a Board recognized by the American Board of Medical Specialties A minimum of 1 year experience in primary care with correctional healthcare preferred Must possess strong written communication and verbal skills have strong computer skills We know you may have questions before applying.
