MAT Nurse Practitioner / NP or Physician Assistant / PA to join our team at the

Washoe County Jail

located in

Reno, NV.

The position will be primarily focused on assessing patients for

Medication Assisted Treatment,

prescribing medications and following their care.Pay rates vary based on type of license, certification, shift, site needs, licensure, and experience.

Once hired, we encourage our employees to continue to seek opportunities for advancement and leadership.Responsibilities:Responsibilities for MAT Nurse Practitioner:Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the physiological, psychological and emotional needs of the patientsObtain history and perform a physical examination to determine patient health statusFormulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement treatment plansIdentify patient health conditions and prescribe treatment based on diagnosisEvaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatmentAdmit and discharge patients from all units in the facilityConduct roundsSchedule and perform laboratory and diagnostic procedures

Qualifications:Qualifications for

MAT Psychiatric

Nurse Practitioner:Current, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner with Psychiatric certification in

NVOR

a Physician Assistant with a minimum of 1 year of relevant Psychiatric work experienceCurrent DEA registrationValid CPRWe know you may have questions before applying.
