MAT Nurse Practitioner / NP or Physician Assistant / PA to join our team at the
Washoe County Jail
located in
Reno, NV.
The position will be primarily focused on assessing patients for
Medication Assisted Treatment,
prescribing medications and following their care. Pay rates vary based on type of license, certification, shift, site needs, licensure, and experience.
PRN shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs for FT shifts and will be determined by prn employee availability.Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and will be determined upon interview. Responsibilities: Responsibilities for MAT Nurse Practitioner: Provide direct and indirect medical care to meet the physiological, psychological and emotional needs of the patients Obtain history and perform a physical examination to determine patient health status Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement treatment plans Identify patient health conditions and prescribe treatment based on diagnosis Evaluate patients who have returned from off-site treatment Admit and discharge patients from all units in the facility Conduct rounds Schedule and perform laboratory and diagnostic procedures
Qualifications: Qualifications for
MAT Psychiatric
Nurse Practitioner: Current, unrestricted license as a Nurse Practitioner with Psychiatric certification in
NV OR
a Physician Assistant with a minimum of 1 year of relevant Psychiatric work experience Current DEA registration Valid CPR We know you may have questions before applying.
