The Defense Systems Sector Digital Transformation team seeks a Digital Supply Chain Core Functional Lead (CFL) to support the development of future digital supply chain capabilities for the sector and support the enterprise as part of the newly formed corporate Digital Transformation Office (DTO). The selected candidate will support the development of a portfolio of next-generation enterprise Digital Supply Chain capabilities. These capabilities will drive enhanced collaboration with program management, engineering, manufacturing, quality, sustainment, and supply chain. The candidate will also help shape Defense Systems’ Digital Supply Chain strategy and lead projects that deploy our next-generation Digital Supply Chain capabilities to sites throughout Defense Systems.

This position reports to the Defense Systems Sector Director of Digital Transformation and will be matrixed to the Defense Systems Vice President of Global Supply Chain. The primary responsibilities of the role include:

Work with the Defense Systems Sector Vice President of Global Supply Chain and operating divisions to incorporate digital supply chain capabilities into functional roadmaps, improvement plans, policies, and technical talent needs.

Identify the right digital supply chain processes and tools to solve our Defense Systems programs challenges.

Help teams implement digital supply chain processes.

Oversee the performance of geographically separated teams and work effectively with cross-functional and cross-sector individuals within those teams.

Consult with teams and stakeholders, including direct participation in working sessions, to provide guidance and help them work through challenges related to adopting digital supply chain solutions.

Some program staff are new to Digital Supply Chain, and you’ll help them get up to speed and become effective practitioners.

Develop and summarize status, data, and metrics to support project reviews with the DTO and Defense Systems senior leadership.

Provide informal training on digital supply chain processes and tools.

Develop and maintain the DTO digital supply chain vision and roadmaps for Defense Systems.

Define a common baseline enterprise change management approach for deploying the candidate’s digital capability portfolio.

Functional management responsibility for 3-5 DS sector global supply chain staff that support various Digital Transformation projects.

Basic Qualifications:

A Bachelor’s degree and at least 10 years of experience or a Master’s degree or higher and at least 8 years of experience supporting execution of technical projects, captures, or functional teams.

Ability to travel to other Northrop Grumman sites at least 25% of the time.

Ability to obtain and maintain a Top Secret security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

At least 2 years of experience in a supply chain leadership role with demonstrated ability to integrate cross-functional teams.

Experience configuring, integrating, and deploying commercial software solutions and tool-to-tool interfaces to enable digital supply chain execution within a product development lifecycle.

Ability to coach others throughout the organization to manage key elements of the transformation.

Experience with agile execution and common tools such as JIRA, Confluence, SharePoint, Excel.

Diverse supply chain experience supporting capture, program, or functional execution throughout the product life cycle.

Ability to roll-up sleeves to design digital solutions, deploy/implement solutions, and clearly communicate value.

Experience communicating detailed information quickly and easily to functional and program leadership.

Builds and manages key stakeholder relationships with the ability to influence sector and enterprise functional leadership.

Ability to develop sector or program-wide objectives, strategies, or roadmaps and communicate the strategic development and implementation plan.

Understanding of various indirect project types and funding processes.

Understanding and experience with Organizational Change Management.

Experience leading cross-functional teams.

Active Top Secret security clearance.

Salary Range:

$141,800 - $259,900
