Senior Property Accountant – Affordable Housing $95k/yrOur client, a real estate nonprofit, is seeking a Senior Property Accountant to join their growing team. They offer a dynamic and supportive work environment with a hybrid schedule of 2 days in the office and 3 at home. The Senior Property Accountant will be responsible for the financial management and regulatory reporting of the company’s HUD and affordable housing properties, including quarterly regulatory compliance and preparing monthly financial statements. The role involves working closely with site personnel to prepare budgets, variance analyses, and annual audit packages, ensuring all property accounting transactions and monthly accounting entries are accurate.Qualifications:Experience with HUD, Affordable Housing, and Mass Housing regulatory requirementsProficiency in RealPage and Yardi accounting softwareBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Business, or equivalent work experienceStrong background in financial statement preparation and analysis
