Monday - Friday (Full-time)
Position Overview:
Provides substance abuse counseling and support services to juvenile offenders admitted into the Illinois Department of Juvenile Justice Treatment Program.
Responsibilities:
Completes intakes and assessments as needed.
Provides individual and group counseling.
Completes treatment planning and other required clinical documentation in accordance with contractual requirements and licensing regulations.
Provides case management services and coordination of the youth's treatment.
Develops post-release plans.
Participates in staff growth and development activities.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in social work, psychology, criminal justice, or related field.
Experience with offender populations preferred.
Experience with juveniles preferred.
Must meet professional staff qualifications as required by 77 Illinois Administrative Code 2060.309 within two years of employment.
