Position Overview:
Under the direction of the Program Manager, the Clinical Counselor will provide several models of intervention to youth and their families experiencing mental and behavioral health challenges. The Counselor will be responsible for developing and monitoring treatment plans for clients, providing individual, group, and family counseling, and conducting home or school visits as needed.
Qualifications:
Master's degree required
Bachelor's degree plus 3+ years of experience may take the place of the Master's
Experience in a counseling setting working with adolescents
A valid driver's license
Reliable transportation (proof of insurance may be needed)
COVID-19 Policy:
In compliance with Illinois Executive Order, Youth Outreach Services is requiring all employees to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or have an approved exemption. Approved exemptions will require weekly testing for COVID-19.
