Description

Michigan Kenworth in Dearborn is seeking an Account Executive to join their Truck Sales team! Responsibilities include meeting or exceeding goals for profit margin, unit sales, and market share for new and used light, medium and heavy duty trucks. Responsibilities:Meet or exceed goals for profit margin, unit sales and market share for new and used light, medium and heavy duty trucksCultivate assigned customer territories and accountsThe Account Executive Conquest and grow new accountsMaintain a high level of customer satisfaction among all assigned accountsMaintain thorough knowledge of all products and services sold by the companyPrimary Duties:

Call on all assigned accounts as scheduled and file complete and timely call reportsMaintain current data for customer profiles in company databasesSuccessfully complete product and sales training courses as assignedDevelop and maintain full working knowledge of all company systems, procedures, and policiesFacilitate resolution of customer satisfaction issues including coordination and follow up with other departments and branchesWork assigned floor days to maximize retail sales opportunitiesFile complete and timely UPs reports on all walk-in and call-in sales prospects contactedFacilitate timely deliveries of customer unitsPromote sales of finance and insurance services related to truck sales transactionsQualifications

Associates degree (AA) or comparable work experience; Bachelors Degree preferredThree to five years heavy duty truck sales or related experienceValid Commercial Drivers License (CDL) or ability to obtain oneAbility to read and interpret truck specification lists and various other technical bulletinsAbility to demonstrate or display extensive product knowledge to customer and staff to assist with purchase decisionsMust be highly organized, detail oriented and results drivenAbility to prioritize and handle numerous tasks simultaneouslyAbility to work well under pressure while assisting a wide variety of customers and fostering relationships with key industry contactsEffective written and oral communication skillsEffective computer, mathematical and customer service skillsAbility to bend, kneel, stoop and lift/move up to 50 lbs. on a regular basisAbility to work 8 - 10 hour days, including overtime hours as neededAbility to work outdoors and in an environment with occasional exposure to weather elements
