The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in environmental regulatory and administrative enforcement matters, including handling issues under CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and related California statutes. The role demands high academic achievement, exceptional research and analytical skills, and the ability to work independently and collaboratively.Duties:Advise clients on various environmental regulatory and administrative enforcement matters.Handle issues related to CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and California environmental statutes.Manage environmental due diligence, including investigation and selling or acquiring potentially contaminated properties.Develop and execute legal strategies for clients involved in environmental disputes and regulatory compliance.Conduct legal research and analysis on complex environmental issues.Prepare and present detailed reports, briefs, and legal documents.Represent clients in negotiations and administrative hearings related to environmental matters.Collaborate with other attorneys, clients, and stakeholders to develop comprehensive legal solutions.Stay updated on current environmental laws, regulations, and industry trends.Requirements:7-10 years of relevant experience in environmental law.Significant experience in advising on environmental regulatory and enforcement matters.Proven track record in managing environmental due diligence and contaminated property transactions.High academic achievement and a strong understanding of environmental laws and regulations.Admission to the State Bar of California.Education:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic background in environmental law and related courses.Certifications:Admission to the State Bar of California.Skills:Exceptional research and analytical skills.Strong writing and presentation abilities.Effective interpersonal and communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.Enthusiasm and energy for handling complex legal issues.Proficiency in managing multiple cases and deadlines efficiently.
