A law firm in Los Angeles, CA, is seeking a highly qualified Senior Environmental Attorney with 7-10 years of experience to join their team. This role involves providing expert legal advice on various environmental regulatory and administrative matters, including compliance with CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and related California statutes. The ideal candidate will have significant experience in environmental due diligence, investigation, and managing the site and sale of potentially contaminated properties. They should possess vital energy, enthusiasm, and the capability to work independently and collaboratively.Duties and Responsibilities:Provide legal counsel on environmental regulatory and enforcement matters.Advise clients on compliance with CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and related California statutes.Handle environmental due diligence and investigation for property transactions.Manage legal aspects of the site and sale of potentially contaminated properties.Conduct thorough legal research and analysis on environmental issues.Prepare and review legal documents, including briefs, memoranda, and reports.Represent clients in administrative and regulatory hearings, as well as in negotiations.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal professionals on complex cases.Maintain up-to-date knowledge of changes in environmental laws and regulations.Requirements:7-10 years of experience as an environmental attorney.Proven track record in advising on environmental regulatory and enforcement matters.Significant experience with CERCLA, RCRA, the Clean Air Act, the Clean Water Act, and related California statutes.Demonstrated expertise in environmental due diligence and managing contaminated property transactions.Exceptional research, analytical, and presentation skills.High level of academic achievement and professional integrity.Admission to the State Bar of California.Education and Certifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Admission to the State Bar of California.Skills:Strong analytical and research capabilities.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to work independently and as part of a team.High level of organizational and time management skills.Proficiency in environmental law and regulations.Ability to handle complex legal issues with precision and clarity.Location:Company infoLABOR & EMPLOYMENT PARTNERLOS ANGELESSeeking a labor and employment partner.DescriptionThe Associate VP, Enterprise Architecture translates business needs into technical systems solutions and architectural roadmaps.
