Its employees consistently rank Moss as one of the best places to work.POSITION SCOPE AND ORGANIZATIONAL IMPACTMoss' Director of Hourly Talent Acquisition will play a critically important role focused on shaping and implementing innovative strategies for identifying, sourcing, attracting, hiring, and onboarding of hourly/non-exempt field Operations team members who build Moss Solar projects. The position is based at our headquarters in Fort Lauderdale, requires frequent travel to project sites, and offers a highly competitive compensation package and robust benefits.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESEvaluate, develop, implement, and deliver comprehensive, creative and effective employment branding, marketing/advertising and recruitment strategies for hourly, high-volume positions (Solar Laborer, heavy equipment Operators) at Solar project sites across the southern U.S.Develop, hire, manage, mentor, guide a team of Talent Acquisition professionals responsible for sourcing, recruiting, and onboarding hourly/non-exempt field Operations team membersCollaborate and build strong partnerships with Solar leadership and local project teams and Superintendents to understand hiring needs, overall resource and workforce planning, and local market considerationsDrive a best-in-class candidate experience from initiation of job posting to offer acceptance, and effective, simplified new hire onboarding for candidates speaking multiple languagesCultivate and foster relationships with internal Marketing team, external recruitment marketing channels, talent providers, job boards, educational institutions, veteran/military bases and organizations, and local community resources for talent pipeline and advertising of current hiring needsDevelop and track key recruitment metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment strategies and identify data-driven areas for improvementPerform other duties as assignedEDUCATION AND WORK EXPERIENCEExperienced people leader (Director or similar level in a Corporate environment) who has been successful, responsible, and accountable for a broad range of Talent Acquisition-related functions in high-volume (3,000+ hires annually) environments with heavy density of hourly/non-exempt workforceKnowledge and experience in construction or Solar/renewable energy sector is highly preferredPassionate about excellent candidate experience and new team member onboardingAbility to build trusted partnerships with Superintendents, Solar leadership, and other HR colleagues and empathic, dynamic, and motivating leader of teamsForward-thinking and creative individual with high personal integrity, with a clear sense of ethics, fairness, and responsibility aligned to company culture and objectivesSuccessful sourcing and recruitment of general labor or construction including local community outreach, veteran/military engagement, and creative, current recruitment marketing techniquesHands-on leader who is experienced and comfortable spending time in the field to engage with and earn the respect of the business, as well as understand their specialized needsPrevious experience with Workday is preferredPosition is located in Fort Lauderdale, FL and requires frequent travel (50%+)Bilingual Spanish/English is desiredJOB TITLE:
