Please watch this brief video to find out if this is the place you want to be!The Corporate Counsel II provides support to the Associate General Counsel, providing legal advice to the various business units of the company, primarily in providing autonomous management and decision-making in preparing/reviewing/negotiating major contracts, subcontracts and master service agreements.THIS IS A 100% REMOTE POSITION.Key Responsibilities:

Draft and review various types of strategic agreements including key vendor and supplier services agreements; sales RFPs/RFIs; and key customer contracts.Serve as legal point of contact for account managers as well as other business partners, ensuring that reviews and approvals are carried out quickly, effectively and in accordance with policies and procedures.Handle related contract issues.Assist in the development and refinement of contract and policy templates.Provide training and legal advice on contract and risk management.Review, analyze, make recommendations, and, within appropriate limitations, make autonomous decisions regarding a broad range of legal issues.Conduct internal fact investigations and risk analyses.Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams covering a broad range of topics, set appropriate priorities, and deliver results within established timelines.Perform other duties as assigned.Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:

Ability to independently and efficiently identify the legal aspects of an issue and provide practical, actionable advice.Ability to communicate legal issues clearly to non-lawyers and provide risk-based approaches to legal issues.Able to independently prepare high-quality documents that reflect advanced knowledge of contract terms and conditions, legal requirements, and enterprise risk tolerance.Ability to exercise management authority over outside counsel assisting in areas under Corporate Counsel II’s authority.Use independent judgment, discretion, and initiative, as well as a high degree of skill in interpersonal relations, work organization, professionalism, and flexibility.Ability to develop strong business relationships across functions.Ability to embrace change and ambiguity in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.Strong team mindset, both within the department and cross-functionally.Ability to work effectively in a remote team environment.Strong attention to detail.Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

Juris Doctorate10+ years of experience negotiating complex commercial contracts on both the sales and procurement side in-house.Active membership and in good standing of your local state bar association.Demonstrated experience working autonomously on key enterprise agreements.Demonstrated experience working on cross-functional teams, including management teams.In-depth knowledge of commercial contracts and contract law.Preferred Qualifications:

Experience working for a tech company.Experience supporting an in-house sales organization.Physical Requirements:
