(Job Number: 78005577D20240412)DISCOVER your opportunitySenior Business Analysts bridge the gap between business and IT by effectively communicating with all stakeholders. The Senior Business Analyst will support one or multiple applications within a Delivery Team. Responsibilities include eliciting and documenting business, functional, non-functional, and technical requirements, supporting quality assurance testing and UAT, and triaging incoming issues, defects, and enhancement requests.Essential Responsibilities:Collect, challenge, facilitate, and document business requirements in Waterfall, or generate a set of Features, Epics & User stories in Agile Scrum.Validate the overall IT solution to ensure alignment with business requirements, reviewing requirements and/or specifications with development and test teams.Assess the feasibility & benefits of proposed projects using process, system, and business knowledge/experience.Collaborate with Business Engagement and Delivery Team to ensure requirements fit into the process flow.Coordinate project delivery by participating in design reviews and functionality walkthroughs.Ensure functionality developed aligns with business requirements.Identify areas for functional enhancements: reducing cycle times, improving system efficiency, and developing systems for better analytics and reporting.Facilitate user acceptance testing and provide support for issues/changes in production.You will report to the Analyst Lead.Required Skills and Abilities:Relevant years of experience as an IT Business Analyst or equivalent role with a minimum education of a 4-year college/university.Ability to extract and document business requirements to support the delivery of a technical solution.Familiarity with Business Analyst techniques (User interviewing, Workshop facilitation, Business Process Modelling, Use cases, As-Is and To-Be Business Process Analysis).Significant experience in supporting all phases of the software development life cycle, including UAT support & oversight.Ability to manage ambiguity, create accurate estimates, and identify project risks.Excellent stakeholder management skills with a proven ability to build trusting relationships.Ability to present information in an influencing manner to leadership and stakeholders.Team-oriented individual with effective communication and interpersonal skills.Proven planning and organization skills, with the ability to prioritize workload and set realistic timescales.Desired Skills and Abilities:Ability to work with data and complex systems.Significant proven experience in business analysis.Experience with multiple SDLC methodologies, particularly Agile Scrum.Detail-conscious, technically motivated, creative, and user-oriented.Able to determine and communicate impacts of system functionality on performance and scalability.Adaptable to new strategies and comfortable with change.Domain knowledge of Insurance is mandatory, with Reinsurance experience preferable.FIND your futureAXA XL, the P&C and specialty risk division of AXA, is known for solving complex risks.
