The ideal candidate will possess 3-6 years of relevant experience and a strong background in mergers and acquisitions transactions involving public companies. This role requires exceptional academic credentials, comparable law firm experience, and outstanding communication skills.Key Responsibilities:Handle mergers and acquisitions transactions, focusing on public companies on both the sell-side and buy-side.Advise clients on securities laws and related regulatory requirements.Draft, review, and negotiate various transaction documents, including merger agreements, asset purchase agreements, and stock purchase agreements.Conduct due diligence investigations and manage due diligence processes.Collaborate with other attorneys and legal staff to ensure seamless and efficient transaction execution.Provide strategic legal advice to clients on complex M&A issues.Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.Manage and mentor junior associates and legal support staff.Participate in business development activities and foster client relationships.Requirements:3-6 years of general mergers and acquisitions and transactional experience.Strong focus on mergers and acquisitions transactions involving public companies.Outstanding academic credentials from a top-tier law school.Comparable law firm experience with a proven track record of success.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Education:Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school.Strong academic performance and credentials.Certifications:Relevant CA Bar admission (or eligibility to obtain admission promptly).Skills:Proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex transaction documents.Deep understanding of securities laws and regulations.Strong client management and relationship-building skills.Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.High level of attention to detail and organizational skills.Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.Competence in using legal research tools and technology.Job Location:Los Angeles, CA
