Position DescriptionThis position is based out of the Support Center located in Independence, OH. It is a senior level leadership position which reports to the VP of IT. This individual will be responsible for all aspects of the ERP landscape including SAP ECC, SAP Integration Suite, and integrated 3rd party SaaS solutions. These systems provide the critical functionality for the corporate business functions of the company including HR, Payroll, Finance, Real Estate, and Procurement.Essential Responsibilities:Hire and retain skilled team members and consultants by creating a productive working environment for all ERP team members including BASIS administration, functional, development, and integration.Facilitate the prioritization of the project portfolio with the objective of maximizing value for the overall company.Plan, track, and optimize the team budget for technology and staff.Develop an effective communication strategy to keep stakeholders appropriately informed of issues, risks, and status.Maintain ERP roadmap that outlines future enhancements and functionality to increase the business benefit from SAP over time.Ensure that the ERP landscape is scaled for performance, including database performance, application tuning, basis support, and security.Promote collaboration between IT and business team to improve overall project results.Desired Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree required in a related field.Minimum of 10 years of SAP ERP experience and 5+ years broad IT leadership experience.Extensive knowledge of SAP ECC and how to navigate the SAP ecosystem of related products and services.Strong skills in system design, project management, and resource management.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Ability to articulate complex IT concepts and related value to business leaders.Experience leading the deployment of large SAP solutions with demonstrated understanding of the personnel, budget, and time required.Robust knowledge of project management methodologies including ASAP, Waterfall, Agile, and Activate.Ability to balance competing priorities of leading multiple projects.Why Work for Flynn?Flynn Group offers a variety of benefits and perks to encourage and empower our employees.
