Position:
The
Procurement Coordinator-Brand Support
is responsible for tactically supporting the day-to-day needs of the Procurement Brand Support team and Restaurant Operations. This role includes but is not limited to, providing excellent customer service across various Purchasing categories, placing purchase orders, reconciling invoices, mining data, maintaining Procurement information database and supporting files, resolving vendor-related issues, and supporting other department needs. To succeed in this role, this individual will be a detailed, forward-thinking self-starter with natural customer service and problem-solving skills who is comfortable juggling various projects.
Core Responsibilities:Communicate and follow up frequently and consistently to ensure issues are resolved for the operation of the business within company guidelinesProduce various communications and materialsReconcile and process invoices to ensure accuracy and in compliance with organizational policyPerform the purchasing process for equipment, parts, accessories, and supplies necessary for the operation of the business within company guidelinesObtain, review, and file quotes and negotiate with suppliers for requirements that meet operational needsBuild and maintain relations with vendors and cross-functional partners and work to minimize issuesExecute and track purchase orders accurately and promptly to ensure proper delivery of goods and servicesMaintain accurate supplier records and new item specificationsCoordinate a variety of projects as required by OperationsProvide back-up support to the team as neededComplete other duties as may be assigned including but not limited to monitoring and tracking budgets and supporting acquisition processesExperience:
Highly proficient in Office 365 environment, SAP and Coupa experience a plusHigh school diploma or GED; Two (2) or Four (4) year college degree preferredFour (4) years of industry experience in food service or retail preferredRestaurant operations experience is highly desirableCustomer service background is requiredSkills/Abilities:
