This position reports to the Associate General Counsel, Corporate, and will be handling mainly marketing-related agreements and transactions and a variety of other commercial matters.ResponsibilitiesReview, revise, draft and/or negotiate commercial agreements including but not limited to influencer agreements, services agreements, publisher agreements, production agreements, co-branding agreements, brand partnership agreements, NDAs, license agreements, sponsorship agreements, vendor agreements.Gather and evaluate internal and external information, and perform legal research and analysis, to determine whether company actions or processes comply with company policies, laws and regulations.Provide advice and counsel to cross-functional teams on novel, cutting edge issues impacting e-commerce.Manage and collaborate with top tier outside law firms.Job RequirementsMinimum of 4-5 years of solid experience in corporate transactional and marketing/advertising law.Minimum of 3 years of law firm experience in relevant fields as a lawyer required.Exceptional legal drafting, research and analytical skills.Strong working knowledge of marketing principles required.Strong working knowledge of copyright and trademark law required.Experience counseling business leaders on legal issues.Self-starter, entrepreneurial, “roll up your sleeves” attitude.Ability to work in a fast-paced start-up environment.In-house experience a plus.Entertainment law experience a plus.Excellent interpersonal skills with proven experience in relationship building.JD from a U.S. accredited law school.Must be a current member in good standing of a state bar in the US.A strong work ethic, attention to detail and sense of professional accountability.A good sense of humor and a strong collaborator.SHEIN Distribution is an equal opportunity employer committed to a diverse workplace environment.
