Headquartered in Singapore, with more than 15,000 employees operating from offices around the world, SHEIN is committed to making the beauty of fashion accessible to all, promoting its industry-leading, on-demand production methodology, for a smarter, future-ready industry.Position SummaryWe’re seeking a full-time Fashion Designer for our Los Angeles-based corporate office.Job ResponsibilitiesLead the research and development of seasonal trendsDevelop and execute new apparel designsCreate cohesive concept boards and sketches including the brand aesthetic and visionCreate technical packages for each collectionManage fabric development; sourcing textiles and trims, and order fabrics and trims as neededEngage in all aspects of the design process from development through production; approving samples, modifying sketches as neededResearch current trends consistent with existing aesthetic of styles of multiple categoriesOwn the creative process from original inception to initial sampleJob RequirementsBachelor’s degree in Apparel Design preferred3-5 years of design experience in a similar roleProficient in Adobe Photoshop and IllustratorFast fashion experienceMust possess strong garment construction, such as fabric construction, finishes, sewing techniques, graphics and trimsMust have strong flat (CAD) sketching skillsHighly organizational with strong written and verbal communication skills – in a fast-paced fashion environmentAttention to detail with a sense of urgencyPay$71,700 min. - $109,400 max annually.
