The Business Analyst position will perform all aspects of supporting the local brokerage team with pre-sales marketing, research, and transaction processing. The Business Analyst will report directly to the local brokerage teams where they will work on local projects and assignments and will be indirectly aligned with the National Business Analyst Program Director. The goal of this position is to learn CRE by supporting local brokerage teams, and ultimately developing into a broker or support position within Transwestern at the completion of the program.

The Business Analyst will not only exhibit exemplary customer service when communicating with internal teams, investors, lenders and owners, but also to focus on productivity and results.

Essential Job Functions

Assist in development of new business and with selling, leasing, and marketing for the local brokerage team.Provide robust financial analysis for local brokerage teams, as well as assistance with Offering Memorandums and/or other materials as required.Conduct targeted research and develops intelligence database on clients and prospects to assist local brokerage teams in identifying opportunities and relationships.May assist brokers/leadership with client meetings and property tours.Prepare presentations and proposals for new business development, providing recommendations with a focus on ensuring that all materials meet established standards as to branding and messaging.Maintain and update marketing library of standard company boilerplate proposals, presentations, social media, and other collateral materials.In conjunction with Research Manager, coordinate the handling of broker requests for data and research information.Work with research and other team members to compile new market information, while keeping existing market research organized, up to date, and ready to use.Assist team with activity in XRM.Provide high-level administrative support including but not limited to detailed calendar management, overseeing correspondence, invoice tracking, presentations and assembling reports.Schedule and organize meetings and events, conference calls and appointments.Prepare items in relation to meetings, including but not limited to, creation and assembly of documents for distribution, coordination of site/location reservation, food orders, attendance confirmations, and interacting with attendees to address questions or issues on an event.Main point of contact for the team.Additional duties as assigned.

Position Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in business, economics, real estate or related field preferred.Brokerage License must be obtained within first 12 months of employment.Ideally, at least one or two years of business experience and analyst experience through a previous internship.Excellent writing skills to prepare complete and accurate reporting.Excellent oral communication skills to represent the company and maintain the Company’s image.Must have exceptional skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, InDesign and internet programs.Strong organizational skills, creativity, and interpersonal skills.Ability to analyze qualitative and quantitative information and translate into strategic deliverables.Prepares and compiles financial models based on lease transaction process.Must be detail oriented, analytical and have exceptional problem-solving skills.Strong desire to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment while being team oriented.Must be able to handle multiple projects, changing priorities and a continually heavy workload.Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision.Strong customer service orientation.Ability to keep information strictly confidential.Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% or more of the time/constantly operate a computer and other office productivity machinery (ex. a calculator, copy machine, computer printer) or, by request, be provided reasonable accommodations to perform the essential functions of the position.
