If yes, look no further than the CO+I Team.We are hiring an outstanding Principal Data and Applied Scientist Manager to lead our data engineering and systems team to focus on two key responsibilities: architect and expand our data science infrastructure to produce the Long Range Infrastructure plan, and ensure our data science infrastructure is secure and compliant. Candidates for this position should have a proven track record of collaborating with a diverse set of stakeholders and team members to architect scalable, modular data science platforms for generating actionable insights.Responsibilities
Architect, maintain, and expand our data science platform to empower our data scientists and stakeholders to produce the Long Range Infrastructure Plan.Collaborate with partner teams across the world to drive key features and improvements in our data science platform.Ensure our data science platform is secure and compliant.Lead a team of data engineers responsible for building and maintaining various components in the data science platform.Hire top talent and foster a diverse and inclusive workplace.Embody our Culture and Values.Qualifications
Required Qualifications:Bachelor's Degree in Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Electrical or Computer Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years related experience (e.g., statistics, predictive analytics, research).1+ year(s) people management experience.Other Requirements:These requirements include, but are not limited to, the following specialized security screenings: Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.Preferred Qualifications:Proven experience in building, managing and/or leading an engineering team.Experience using NuGet, pip, and CRAN; experience building R, Python, and C# .NET packages.Experience with building fault tolerant, robust, distributed computing systems.Familiarity with Microsoft Azure cloud services such as SQL Azure, Key Vault, Blob Storage, Service Bus, etc.Microsoft’s mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more.
