1Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Price-to-Win Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals with our Strategy and Growth organization to support emerging programs. This leadership role is located in Melbourne, FL or Redondo Beach, CA. Remote/hybrid may be considered if there is ability to travel to participate in regular, on-site activities.This role is essential in driving our competitive pricing strategies, ensuring our proposals are both compelling and competitive in the market. You will be responsible for developing sophisticated pricing models that accurately reflect the competitive landscape, enabling us to anticipate and counter competitor strategies, positioning Northrop Grumman as the preferred choice for our customers.Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Aircraft Price-to-Win – Lead, execute, and deliver timely, compelling PTW products and recommendations to priority NGAS captures, including Top-Down and Bottoms-Up methodologiesCompetitive Analysis – Conduct competitive assessments to inform pricing strategies, analyzing competitor capabilities and pricing to provide recommendations and guidance to emerging programsCross-functional collaboration – Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, business management, supply chain, and business development to synthesize and interpret data for competitive analysisLeadership and Communication – Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders, articulating complex pricing strategies in a clear and compelling mannerContinuous Capability Improvement – Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in competitive pricing and PTW methodologies, continuously refining our approach to maintain a competitive edgeCompetencies for SuccessStrategic mindsetCreative, yet structured, problem-solving abilitiesComfort with ambiguityMotivated and proactive; inclined to take action without directionAbility to lead without direct authorityAbility to focus, (re)prioritize, and multitask to deliver on commitmentsBasic QualificationsBachelor’s degree in business, engineering or related discipline and 8 years of related professional/military experience; Master’s degree in business, engineering or related discipline and 6 years of related professional/military experience; PhD and 4 years of professional/military experienceAbility to obtain and maintain special program access within a reasonable period of time as determined by the needs of the businessFamiliarity with competitive contracting and acquisition processesExpert working knowledge of cost modeling software and tools (e.g., Excel, Truplanning, SEER, etc.) and parametric modeling methodsPTW or cost analysis experience in support of significant aircraft capturesPreferred QualificationsProven PTW or cost analysis experience on variety of aircraft capture opportunities (e.g. clean sheet development, variants, domestic/international, modification/upgrades)Experience supporting Design-to-Cost, preparing proposal cost volumes or Basis of EstimateActive Top-Secret clearance and SAP eligibilityGraduate degree in business or engineeringWhat We Offer:At Northrop Grumman, we are on the cutting edge of innovation -- building the next generation of sophisticated aircraft to protect our country. $119,300 - $207,100The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.The application period for the job is estimated to be 20 days from the job posting date.
