Analyst

position’s primary objective is to support the department’s goal of maximizing operations and returns at the individual asset level and the overall fund/portfolio level. The analyst will prepare and analyze data including performance analysis of existing assets, compile and interpret market data, and be responsible for developing and maintaining comprehensive reporting.What you’ll doSupport the Asset Management Team in regular oversight for assigned properties, including:Provide market research and develop a strong knowledge of assigned properties and regionsIdentify opportunities to exceed benchmarks without negatively impacting property operations or the property’s competitive position within the submarketReview weekly reports of leasing, occupancy, and trends and provide appropriate follow upUtilize Asset Management’s operational software systems for reporting, tracking, and analysisParticipate in revenue management calls to review lease pricingMonitor key property metrics such as unit turnover timing, renewal rates, and lease expiration schedules, and escalate potential issues that could impact property performanceParticipate in preparation and presentation of annual business plans and quarterly updatesParticipate in annual budgeting process, reforecasts, and monthly variance reviewsContribute to the coordination, analysis, and other efforts for specific property needs related to lease up activity, disposition preparation, and major capital project implementationsAssist with due diligence in evaluating capital projects and renovationsConduct portfolio and property-level research projects, utility expense analysis, and review ancillary income contracts and payment schedules to identify business opportunitiesReview real estate tax assessments and participate in discussions with third-party real estate tax consultants regarding tax appeal strategiesCoordinate with other departments and respond to any requests for property-level data and metrics to report to investors, lenders, partners, or othersPerform Ad Hoc Analyses or Reporting as neededWho you areDemonstrates working knowledge of real estate investment, property management, and multifamily development or renovationAbility to communicate effectively and concisely to various stakeholdersExcellent written and verbal skills to drive resultsCreative, self-motivated, and intellectually curious to drive results independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time management abilities to execute on multiple projectsUpholds a high level of integrity and a commitment to excellenceWhat you’ll bringBachelors' degree in business, finance, real estate, or related field2+ years of professional experience, ideally with a portion of that time in the real estate investment businessExceptional financial and numerical analytical skillsAn understanding of real estate valuation processes, real estate underwriting, discounted cash flow analyses, and return on investment principles, including experience in financial modelingProficiency in MS office including advanced skills in ExcelCompensation and BenefitsCompensation and Benefits play a key role in your choice of employer, and our goal is to invest in you and your experience here. Base

salary range for this position is

$85,000 to $95,000 . The Company provides this compensation range and general description of other compensation and benefits that it, in good faith, believes it might pay and/or offer for this position. Total compensation for this role also includes a

bonus incentive

in addition to the base salary.
